tv killed someone and his star.
wow tv has gone pretty boring right now. well some days its just painfull to have the tv on, even if its just in the background. the simpsons is ok but should of easily been cut off a few years ago. i can see how the the stories are just going downhill and the writers are just do whatever to get paid, having twists on twists, repetitive jokes. wow. at the same time i can watch other shows...

google maps is the best, true that, double true.
its sooo funny checking peoples houses out on google maps, you go “heeey theres your car with crap in it” or like “aaahhh double parked”. the one time no one is at home the google map people come past and take a photo of the house….laaame.
i would like to know when they upgrade and re-do roads because id love to add random shit in the front yard, so you can laugh...

todays tute was very good. tutors are very knowledgeable and well spoken, which is very good as it makes the class interesting and i guess its what you expect at uni. other classes….yeh, fairly boring stuff. but anyway, did the general thing and checked out the various delicious tags to multiplicity. some things are intense, just the method of doing some of these things to portray different...

i think data visualisation is quite interesting.
Data visualisation is an excellent concept as you can establish the idea and the relationships involved by the image produced, whereas having pure mathematical statistics can be quite hard to comprehend. This is because, as explained in the tute, that humans seem to understand things better visually. I dont know the whole science behind but it does...

i learnt pretty quickly all the basic stuff from the tutes and lectures and by reading other html pages and stealing stuff from there. actually, i found learning the structure the hardest to learn because by stealing links for images and whatever, id have to use a trial and error...

aarrrghhh. Whats really bad about this semester is how a tute is on at the same time as the lecture. I went to the first lecture because I wanted the outline and to hear what the subject was about, it was quite good both the subject and the lecture. So that kinda sucks that I cant make it, I could catch the last hour but I tried that the other week and the lecture was already finished. gosh.
